Hello, my name is Riley and I am 3 years old. I was in 4 different homes in 6 months. I love people and other animals, but each of my humans thought I had too much energy and they kept giving me to others. It was confusing and saddening.

Finally, I found Debbie at Hope Animal Sanctuary. I was heartworm positive when I arrived, but thanks to support from kind donors to In Defense of Animals, we were able to afford the expensive treatment I needed.

We played ball every day and I ate a biscuit every morning (because I was a good boy). I love to sit in laps and be with people. Thanks to In Defense of Animals, I now have a summer home in New Hampshire with my own lake and boat, and I spend my winters in Florida. My guardian takes me everywhere he goes!!!
