Real Life Activist Challenges

Real Life Activist Challenges

Caring for animals sometimes puts us at odds with mainstream society. Making life choices that differ from others, actively promoting kindness and respect for nonhuman animals, speaking up against animal abuse, and debunking myths about other animals are all part of walking the path of compassion for all animals. Almost everyone who chooses to live compassionately will at some point face challenges with family, friends, coworkers, and sometimes even with authorities.

We’ve invited long-time animal activist and respected international speaker Rae Sikora to our webinar to answer your questions about how we can face these challenges while maintaining our integrity and protecting our sensitive center. Rae will give us tangible tools to deal with each situation by removing roadblocks, improving communication, and sharing her top self-care tips.

We want to know about the biggest challenges you’ve faced. Share your stories with us by August 2nd. You can also ask your questions directly via your phone or computer microphone or post them in the chat box during this live webinar on Thursday, August 4th, 5:00 p.m. – 6 p.m. PDT (8:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. EDT).
