Staff at In Defense of Animals India were recently called to rescue this young dog who had suffered a deep injury to his neck. Was he attacked or injured on the street? We had no way of knowing, but either way, he was severely dehydrated and weak, and he would have died without our help.

It took three months of dedicated care by our Turbhe center veterinarian, Dr. Londhe, and his team. Patience, perseverance, dedication and a positive attitude combined to play a big role in his complete recovery!

Thanks to Team Turbhe, and to all of you who care so deeply, for the support that turned what would have otherwise been a tragic and painful death on the streets into an uplifting story filled with happiness!
