It has only been up and available to the world for just a bit longer than two weeks, but in that short time the praise and support for In Defense of Animals Activist Helpline has been nothing short of astonishing!

Activists from all over the United States and Canada can now take advantage of our free helpline services in order to combat the frustration, anger and feelings of loneliness and depression that often occur when balancing everyday life with the challenging and compassion filled life of an animal activist. Studies have shown that, in time, forty to fifty percent of all activists will stop their life saving activities due to symptoms of extreme fatigue. This fatigue is brought on by feelings of loneliness and conflict with friends and family over vegan values, fatigue from the anger that we sometimes feel when change occurs too slowly or not at all and when the battles seem too lonely and overwhelming. Our Animal Activist Helpline is there to provide resources and guidance to activists suffering from burnout because we realize that when activists suffer, the animals who need them suffer as well.

With generous donations from our supporters, IDA has established this first-of-its-kind resource by making trained counselors available, free of charge, to activists in need. Our belief is that every single activist is needed in the fight to realize a world in which animals are finally liberated from exploitation and abuse. Thanks to our caring and kind-hearted supporters, help and healing are now just a phone call away.

If you have not already done so, please consider making a generous tax-deductable donation today in support of activists in the field fighting every day against the horrible abuse, exploitation and neglect of the animals we all hold so dear by clicking here:

Thank you so very much for being a Helpline hero.

The Helpline is available to activists in the United States and Canada via our toll free number: 1 (800) 705-0425 or by e-mail at helpline@idausa.org.
