So many of these stories sound the same, and sadly, that’s because they are.  Neglectful guardians refuse to spay or neuter so often in Mississippi, and as a result there are many thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens born every year.

These babies were no different than many others born to unsprayed females. They were  thin, covered with fleas, fungus and (of course!)  loaded with internal parasites, and unwanted.

As always,  we treated them, gave them the  necessary vaccinations, medications and lots of love and TLC. Today they are happy, healthy and playful babies and soon they will be ready for homes of their own as we start over with yet other unwanted litters.
