Berkeley Residents: Meet Cheyenne Danner, Vegan Weight Loss Coach!
You probably know that a plant-based diet is a great way to be kind to animals, but did you know it can also help you get in shape? Researchers from Harvard University’s Nutrition and Epidemiology departments compared 12 randomized controlled studies on different weight loss diets, and found that vegan diets were most effective, even with calories across diets being the same.
Cheyenne Danner was freed from the binge eating, fatigue, and low self-esteem she associated with being overweight when she discovered veganism, and now her mission is to help others do the same.
