San Francisco Bay Area: Join Carnivores Anonymous with Inspiring Young Activist!
Whether you want to save animals, get healthy, or just live your best life, Carnivores Anonymous is a free, 12 step support group designed to help you achieve your goals! Our monthly meetings feature engaging speakers who share what they’ve learned about transitioning to, sticking with, and thriving in a plant-based lifestyle. We also share our struggles and successes, and explore strategies to achieve our goals.
Our guest speaker this month is Cassie King, a recent graduate of University of California Berkeley, where she led bold, innovative events educating people on how we can change the world by going vegan.
She now leads Direct Action Everywhere's Communications Committee, helping reach millions with powerful stories about animals. She also cares for a rabbit named Jonah, whose life changed completely when Cassie and another 200 DxE activists openly rescued him from an Oakland slaughterhouse one year ago.
What: Carnivores Anonymous Monthly Meeting with Cassie King
When: Tuesday, November 13th, 6:00 – 7:00 PM
