Will You March with Us in Washington Next Saturday?

Will You March with Us in Washington Next Saturday?

We all share the common goal of a cleaner environment and better health for all Americans, so it’s time to address the elephant in the room.

Study after study confirms that animal agriculture is a leading cause of environmental degradation.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, livestock producers (including meat and dairy farming) represent 14.5 percent of the world’s emissions of greenhouse gases, which is more than all the world's cars, buses, boats and trains combined!

A WorldWatch report estimates that 32,000 million tons of carbon dioxide are emitted by livestock production each year, while the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States implicates animal agriculture as the largest emitter of methane, a much more powerful greenhouse gas.

Reducing the world's consumption of animal products is essential to preventing the most devastating impacts of climate change.

So, are you ready to promote the plant-powered solution and march with us this Saturday?

When: April 29th 10 AM - 3 PM EDT
Where: In the vicinity of the White House, Mall, and Capitol.
