Cat Knifed, Hit With Brass Knuckles, & Smashed With Bowling Ball

An 18-year-old Connecticut man is facing a felony animal cruelty charge for not only violently killing his neighbor's 7-month-old kitten, Noodles, using a knife, brass knuckles, and even a bowling ball, but for also boasting about the brutality he inflicted on the terrified cat to his friends. Demand maximum penalties in this case!
Last February, Noodles' guardian called the police and told them that after a night away, they couldn't find him and that they found large amounts of what they thought was blood behind their home. Noodles' body was found when they looked over the fence. Police retrieved his body and discovered he had suffered severe torture before being killed.
Carmello Roberts was later arrested for the crime. Shockingly, it was also learned that Roberts had reportedly boasted to his friends about the brutality and severity of the violence, indicating that he “enjoyed” the act.

This cruel behavior is indicative of a deeply troubled individual. Roberts has been charged with a level D felony for maliciously wounding or killing an animal and faces additional charges, including carrying a dangerous weapon and interfering with an officer. He was held on a $25,000 bail for each charge.

Subject: No Deals for the Man Who Viciously Killed a Neighbor’s Cat
I am writing to you in support of the prosecution of 18-year-old Carmello Roberts who has a history of troubles with the law and has been charged with interfering with an officer, possession of a dangerous weapon, and maliciously wounding or killing an animal.
Roberts brutally killed his neighbor’s cat, Noodles, by stabbing him, pummeling him with brass knuckles, and crushing his head with a bowling ball. He then texted his friends to brag and express his thrill at watching Noodles’ eyes pop out.
It is imperative that Roberts be given no plea deal, be sentenced to the maximum five-year term for animal cruelty, receive penalties for his additional crimes, and mandatory commitment to a serious mental health program.
I will be following this case to its fruition and thank you for your service to the justice system.
Sincerely,
Signed
