Cop Charged With Bestiality Arrested for Child Porn

Over 21,000 In Defense of Animals supporters signed our alert to demand the maximum sentencing of the Bossier City, Louisiana patrolman who had been charged with heinous acts of bestiality. It’s no surprise that now this sexual predator has been arrested on child pornography charges.

On Thursday, April 11th, our Justice for Animals Campaign Director personally delivered your signatures to District Attorney Schuyler Marvin. The very next day, Terry Yetman, the disgraced former patrolman, was booked into the Bossier Parish Correctional Center on 31 counts of child pornography. His bond was set at $620,000. At this time, it is unknown if the charges are federal or state.

For Yetman’s Dec. 19, 2018 arrest under Louisiana state criminal code §89 Crime Against Nature, he was handed a $350,000 bond and may face up to five years in prison “at hard labor.”

Sexual predators like Yetman must be shown zero tolerance for their abhorrent actions and must receive the maximum sentencing the law allows. Making an example of these violent individuals will deter them from striking again and may prevent others from committing violence against innocent victims.

In Defense of Animals will be working towards the passage of Louisiana state legislation to create a registry of every sexual predator in the state. We will also continue to call out judges who fail to protect the vulnerable animals in the communities they have the privilege to serve.

If you agree that harsher penalties must be imposed on animal abusers, please consider making a donation to support our work.
