Watch: $2,500 Reward Offered for Info on Person(s) Who Glued & Tortured Cat

We are offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who glued a cat’s eyes, nose, and mouth shut and left her to die in Columbia, South Carolina.

The cat, most likely a victim of cruelty, was found on July 4, 2024, at an apartment complex at 7645 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, South Carolina with a substance sealing her eyes, nose, and mouth closed. She had also been partially shaved, and her whiskers were cut off. Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma and Specialty admitted her for treatment and recovery.

For the Love of Street Dogs has accepted responsibility for her care and has named her Emmy. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office and Humane Society of South Carolina are investigating to determine if the cat was a victim of animal cruelty. We are now seeking justice for Emmy with a reward offer.

Anyone with information pertinent to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this cruelty should contact In Defense of Animals Justice For Animals Senior Campaigner Doll Stanley at doll@idausa.org or (662) 809-4483.

We maintain that anyone who cruelly harms an animal must face justice. Data clearly shows those who abuse animals are a danger to all society. We hope this reward will encourage someone to come forward and share information about who may have harmed this precious cat. If you know anything, please call in your tip right away. Once there has been an arrest, we will push for maximum prosecution.

We invite you to learn more about what we do and want you to know that your support is always needed and deeply appreciated.
