Los Angeles, California: Join Us for a Vegan Thanksgiving and Fur Free Friday!

This is a busy week for animal activists in Los Angeles! First, we celebrate a compassionate Thanksgiving and then protest animal cruelty on Fur Free Friday. Please join us and fellow activists as we advocate for animals this holiday season!

November 28: Rancho Park Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck (Los Angeles)

November 29: 33rd Annual Fur-Free Friday (Beverly Hills)

Celebrate a Compassionate Thanksgiving with Us!

Don’t miss LA’s biggest vegan potluck event of the year, with hundreds of people attending to celebrate and enjoy a delicious cruelty-free feast. Join our Opening Ceremony to honor the Earth before sharing a holiday meal together. After the meal, enjoy an open mic, participate in an angel walk, or hang out under the trees in the company of new and old friends. Animal companions on leashes are welcome!

For each member of your party, please bring a vegan dish to share that will serve at least 8-10 people. Vegan means no meat, fish, eggs, dairy or honey, no animal products at all. Please bring an ingredient list and your own plates, bowls, cups, and eating/serving utensils.

Join Us for the 33rd Annual Fur-Free Friday!

This year, we celebrated as Governor Newsom signed historic legislation into law to ban fur in California. Starting January 1, 2023, California will be the first state in the nation to outlaw fur. Why wait three more years? Join us on Fur Free Friday to urge Beverly Hills merchants to stop selling fur now.

Actress Donna D'Errico teams up with Last Chance for Animals, In Defense of Animals, and scores of animal activists to protest fur sales on Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. March with us for the millions of fur-bearing animals who live in filth, misery, and squalor and who are killed by horrific methods each year for fashion. Along the way, we will tell holiday shoppers about the cruelty behind the fur industry.

Posters and handouts will be provided for this peaceful demonstration. Meet us at Beverly Gardens Park before proceeding to the protest route at 11:00 am. The first 150 people to arrive will get a free "Go Fur Free / Fur Is Cruel" t-shirt from Last Chance for Animals.
