Chester's Day of Rescue
Hi! My name is Chester, and my day of rescue hasn't happened yet. I fear it may never happen! I'm a pseudorca living at the Vancouver Aquarium. I used to live in the ocean, but now perform for humans here.
The good news is that, thanks in part to In Defense of Animals supporters like you who called the Vancouver Park Board, a ban on cetacean captivity was instated this year, meaning that I will be among the last cetaceans ever held captive at this aquarium!
Please make a year-end donation today to help In Defense of Animals close more captive facilities like the Vancouver Aquarium.
We are devastated to hear that Chester passed away late last month. Thanks to your support, we have ensured that no more animals will ever be exploited in Vancouver's dying pools. Your gifts make it possible for us to pass lifesaving bans and make a more just world for animals. Give today to have your gift doubled.
