Eddie's day of Rescue

Eddie's day of Rescue

My name is Eddie and I live very happily in a feed store with my guardian and her staff.  They all love me. My life wasn’t so sweet before I was rescued.  An In Defense of Animals team member and her friend were in my little town helping with a hoarding case. A woman who knew I was in trouble called the Police Chief to tell him I needed help because my tail was all bloody.

The rest is history. I was taken to a vet where they had to get rid of the burnt part of my tail, so it wouldn’t hurt anymore. When I healed and came out of the vet clinic, In Defense of Animals had learned of a woman who wanted a kitty.

You may think I was adopted to catch mice because my guardian owns a feed store.  Well, wrong! The kitty they had was lonely and my guardian loves cats. So now, no-one is lonely and we’re well fed, and everyone who comes in the store pets us.

Mice? I think the mice smell us and stay away. The truth is I think I’ll omit any connection with mice. I’m a cat with a happy new tail and a cushy life.

Thank you for helping In Defense of Animals to help kitties and other guys in trouble, even mice.
