Hi, my name is Lucky, and my true Day or Rescue hasn't happened yet, but things recently got much better for me.

I’ve suffered alone at San Antonio Zoo for so long! But finally, after nine years in a row of being on In Defense of Animals' Ten Worst Zoos for Elephants list, my captors finally improved my “exhibit,” and I now have two companions, Karen and Nicole, who had suffered terribly in the Ringling Bros. Circus. Although our dream was sanctuary, I am grateful for their company!
