My name is Poppy. I was only seven weeks old and stumbling around a Cameroon village near Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue Center when my mom, who directs IDA-Africa, found me. I was starving. And I was hurting so much because I had burns all over my back from falling in a fire.

Today, I live in Oregon where I get lots of food and walks every day. My mom knows I’m really smart.
