When a dog stumbled up to a house in Carroll County, Mississippi, she had no idea that her life was about to change drastically for the better.

Emaciated, covered with mange, and with several puncture wounds on her body, she only knew she was in pain, but also so hungry. The kind people at the house saw her and responded. They fed her and then posted her picture on social media asking for help.

Lucky for her, these nice helpful people lived near our Hope Animal Sanctuary Director, Debbie Clark. Debbie immediately let them know that we could rehabilitate this dog at our world-class rescue center.

Today this dog is named Grace and we guess she is about 8 years old. We have started treating her skin condition and she will never be hungry or injured without hope again! Soon, she will be ready for a home of her very own.
