Every so often, females with pups are sent to our Deonar Center in Mumbai, India due to displaying overly protective behaviors. They are labeled as “aggressive” after biting people in an attempt to guard their little ones at all costs. As soon as they arrive at our Center, the only treatment these protective mothers require is large doses of kindness! 

After receiving an abundance of love and attention from our skilled team, the mothers abandon their aggressive behaviors to reveal their true personalities. They quickly become very friendly with all of our staff, and are able to watch over their babies while trusting their surroundings. This simple remedy of kindness leads to an overall shift in the mothers’ behaviors and creates a safe and loving atmosphere for her pups and caretakers.
