A three-legged, curious cat, has been a resident at our IDA India Deonar Center for several years. Her name is Tina, and she keeps a watchful eye on everything. Recently, upon the arrival of a rickshaw transporting a new patient, Tina's curiosity got the better of her.

Waiting until no one was around, Tina stealthily climbed into the rickshaw and squeezed herself into the cozy space behind the passenger seat where she remained unseen.

Following treatment, the patient and guardians went on their way. Two hours later, after a long trip to the other side of Mumbai, the stowaway was discovered!

Tina's unwitting chauffeur did not throw out this non-paying customer. He turned around and spent another two hours returning her to the safety of the Center.

Needless to say, we were overjoyed to have her back. We profusely expressed our gratitude to the rickshaw driver, who regularly brings cats into the Center for spay and neuter. He has proved to be a trusted friend to the animals of Mumbai, including our sweet little Tina.

Tina was calm and cool about her big adventure and spent the rest of the day relaxing in the compound, where she has returned to watching over us!
