Despite a few setbacks on his road to a new future, Rowan hasn’t lost his love of, well, everything, and we’re now searching for a home that will love him as much as he loves life.
 
Rowan was dumped at a kill shelter in South Korea last year with severely matted fur and some skin issues. We saved him with our partner Jindo Love Rescue, and he finally started getting the care he desperately needed. While he had been adopted, he suffered another setback. While he was waiting to fly to the U.S., he began limping. We had X-rays done, which showed he needed a femoral head ostectomy, which is done to address hip issues.
 
Unfortunately, during his recovery, it became clear he wasn’t healing properly by the way he was walking, so more X-rays were done, and it turned out he needed the same surgery again.
 
While his adoption was canceled, we’re thrilled he’s been recovering beautifully and is now ready to be adopted. He’s completed a lot of physical and laser therapy, and we’re hoping for the best for him in the future and a family who will stick with him no matter what.

 
Despite what he’s been through in his short life so far, he loves everything, including people, other dogs, and snacks. We’re hoping to find him a family who will understand his background and give him everything he needs to thrive, preferably with another dog because Rowan really loves to play.
