Help Us Catch an Animal Serial Killer in Tacoma, Washington!

This alert is no longer active, but here for reference. Animals still need your help.

An animal serial killer is on the loose and has been terrorizing a neighborhood in Tacoma, Washington, for over a year. Squirrels, birds, and even cats have been victims of this deranged individual. Most of the animals were found dead, but some were found alive, suffering, and badly injured. Multiple calls by neighbors to authorities have only been answered with excuses and inaction. Join us in urging Tacoma Animal Control to investigate and make an arrest before more animals are harmed or killed!

The neighborhood, located adjacent to the Portland Avenue Reservoir in East Tacoma, has seen dozens of animals killed over the past twelve months. Several residents have reported finding dead animals or those who are suffering and dying. Multiple reports of these incidents have been filed with Tacoma Animal Control. In one horrifying incident, a neighbor found four severed cat feet in her yard. When she called Tacoma Animal Control, the responding officer told her he would make a report of a coyote in the area and told her to just throw away the cat's feet into the trash. A coyote did not do this, but instead a human psychopath is responsible. Clearly, law enforcement isn't taking these killings seriously.
