Sanderson Farms claims that its chicken meat is “100% natural.” However, Sanderson raises chickens inside of cramped industrial sheds and administers a slew of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals to them prior to their terrifying slaughter. This is far from natural in any sense of the term. Please join us in holding Sanderson Farms accountable for this deceptive advertising!

We have called out Sanderson Farms in the past for misleading its consumers about the very real dangers of being infected with antibiotic-resistant bacteria. In fact, Sanderson Farms has had multiple lawsuits brought against it while simultaneously refusing to acknowledge the unnatural chemical-laden state of its product, but the company has not been brought to justice yet!

Today, the majority of animal farms rely on antibiotics, arsenic, hormones and feed additives as a quick fix to prevent sickness that spreads like wildfire due to the cramped conditions in which they're forced to live. Antibiotics are also used to unnaturally speed-up growth rates. In fact, over 80% of antibiotics used in the U.S. are purchased by the agricultural industry. The industry’s overuse of antibiotics is a primary reason why antibiotic-resistant superbugs are infecting us at such an alarming rate. Globally, more than 700,000 people die from antibiotic-resistant bacteria each year and if the epidemic is not brought under control, it could kill more people than cancer by 2050.

As advocates for both the animal victims and human consumers who are too often silenced by the interests of company profits, we must always speak up and push for transparency.

We can’t do this alone.

Help us battle mega-meat corporations for their deceptive advertising claims so the public can learn the truth!
