NYC Residents: Learn How to Progress Animal Protection Laws!

NYC Residents: Learn How to Progress Animal Protection Laws!

The city of New York has just introduced a dozen new pieces of legislation to protect and advance animal rights, including banning the sale of foie gras, fur, and animals sourced from pet stores, as well as one to protect wild birds, and much more. We know you have lots of questions and are eager to help, so let’s work together to turn our collective excitement into action!

Please join your fellow animal advocates and In Defense of Animals for an interactive lobby 101 training to learn about our legislative priorities for animal rights in New York. We will equip you with the tools necessary to get these bills passed into law to change the course of history for animals!

Choose from two alternative dates to suit your schedule:

· 4/17 from 6:30-8:30 pm in NYU School of Law, Vanderbilt Hall Room 210
· 4/24 from 6:30-8:30 pm in NYU School of Law, Vanderbilt Hall Room 218

(Many thanks to the NYU SALDF Chapter for hosting these events)

Spots are limited! To RSVP, please send an email to nadia@idausa.org to secure your seat!

This interactive lobby 101 training will give animal advocates like you an opportunity to learn how to participate in the legislative process, meet other like-minded activists, and advance the interests of animals in our city. Whether you're new to advocacy or a seasoned advocate, you can make a huge impact for animals by attending!

We look forward to seeing YOU there!
