Hope Animal Sanctuary Undergoes Vital Renovation

Hope Animal Sanctuary Undergoes Vital Renovation

Not that long ago, we asked you to join us in funding a much-needed renovation of In Defense of Animals’ Hope Animal Sanctuary in Mississippi — to rebuild the heart of hope for unwanted animals.

If you already donated to this lifesaving project, online or by mail, thank you SO much!

This project is so vital that we have extended the giving deadline to July 10, 2017.

You still have time to help us!

Here’s where things stand and how your gift now will help to rebuild the sanctuary:

 • After almost a year of planning, and thanks to early donations, on March 28th we broke ground on construction of the new sanctuary.

• Rains delayed work in April. But spirits soared by early May, as dirt work began for foundations of the tiny houses in our Canine Community!

• Weather permitting, framing for all 20 dog houses should be completed during the month of July. From there it’s on to the cattery for our feline friends, and the Welcome and Education Center.

If we can raise all of the funds to meet our goal, the project should be complete in nine months. $600,000 will rebuild the full sanctuary

So if you are able to support the project with a 2nd “boost” gift to help us make our goal, your extra support would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven’t yet given, and you are able, will you please give now? Even $15 or $25 would make a big difference when joined with the contributions of others who are giving to this effort.

You can support our work by donating
