Barkley’s a young Goldendoodle who’s been through quite a lot! He’s survived on his own after going missing for several weeks and being hit by a car, but he’s still full of life and now he’s safe at our Hope Animal Sanctuary in Mississippi where he’s recovering and getting ready to be adopted. When Barkley was missing, he was sadly hit by a vehicle. His guardians had his injuries addressed by their veterinarian, which included a broken leg that required surgery and a pin.  

However, shortly after the surgery, his guardians decided after much thought that Barkley was too much of a dog for them to properly handle. At that point, we were asked if we could help. Of course, we said yes.

Barkley has since been welcomed at our Hope Animal Sanctuary and has been neutered and given heartworm preventative medication. 

Barkley will need further veterinary care before his leg is completely healed, but In the meantime, he is enjoying his life with us and is getting a lot of attention and love.
