A Tiny Kitten in Harm’s Way Was Saved Just in Time

It’s always a good idea to look before you mow or do serious bush removal to ensure no wild animals will be harmed or disturbed, but in this case, a man who was about to start clearing a pasture spotted something completely unexpected: a tiny kitten. Thankfully, the man was able to rescue the little kitten and brought him to our Hope Animal Sanctuary for help.

Just as he began working, he caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of his eye and stopped the tractor immediately!  As he rounded the front of the tractor, he found a tiny kitten, curled up into a tight ball. He shuddered when he realized what would have happened if he had not seen this tiny little animal.

He immediately stopped his work and drove the kitten to our Hope Animal Sanctuary. There, it was determined that this tiny kitten was only about two weeks old.

We’re not sure how he ended up where he did, but we’re so glad he was found by someone who knew what to do, and that we were able to help him. At the sanctuary, he was bottle-fed by our animal caregivers until he was old enough to eat on his own. They named him Baby Boy and gave him tons of love and attention.

He’s been with us for about three weeks, and it won't be long before our Baby Boy will be ready for a home of his very own!

Without our generous supporters like you, this rescue would not have been possible. You can help ensure we’re always ready to help animals like this little kitten by making a donation.
