Animals In this world frequently fall victim to the carelessness and selfishness of human beings. In this case, a poor cat was brought to our center with an injury that easily could have been prevented. The cat had a curved nail impaled through his foot!

This nail could have easily been tossed away, far away from the danger of being stepped on by either humans or other animals. Thankfully, the nail was removed by Dr. Shahsikant. It was clear that the cat felt immediate relief!

He was given painkillers, was immunized, and went back with his loving guardians who decided to take care of him at home until he got better. They also promised to bring him in for a follow-up on the stipulated date given by the vet.

Meanwhile, Dr. Shashikant was so moved by his plight, that he penned these words, but as if the cat himself was speaking, “Our species may be different, but pain is the same. Throwing a nail on the road means nothing to you, but it hurts. Humans, you can wear shoes but we can't. So please, don't be careless, because not everyone gets a rescuer.”
