WATCH: Dog Rescued in South Korea Gets the Best Surprise in His Forever Home!

Puppies born into rescue might be some of the luckiest, and that’s the case with Taz, whose pregnant mom was saved from the Miryang dog meat farm in South Korea last year. He was the last of his siblings to be adopted, but he’s finally in his forever home — where he discovered he’ll be spending the rest of his life with his brother!

We rescued their mom Aurora just in time with our partner Jindo Love Rescue. When the meat farm’s owner found out she was pregnant, he tied her up on a short chain and kept her outside in all weather conditions with barely any food or water.

Thankfully, we were able to save her and she gave birth in the safety of our foster center to five beautiful puppies. While one of her puppies sadly didn’t survive, she still took the best care of the others: Daffy, Babs, Bugs, and Taz.

We’ve watched them grow from tiny newborns to celebrating their first 100-day birthdays and getting adopted – and we can’t believe how fast they grow!

At the end of August, Taz became the last of his siblings to board a flight to his forever home in the U.S.

This handsome boy is truly special; he has adored our volunteers and is so respectful, smart, loving, and loyal that we couldn’t have asked for a better life for him.

We’re so excited he’s been reunited with his brother Eddie (formerly Bugs) in his new home and that they’ll get to experience all sorts of adventures together. Neither of them will ever know the difficult life their mom did, and we can’t thank everyone enough who supports our mission to make outcomes like this possible for so many dogs in need.

Their mom Aurora is also still one of a few special moms we’ve saved who are waiting to find the perfect forever homes of their own too.

If you can’t adopt, you can still help give South Korea’s dog meat survivors what they need to start their new lives by making a much-needed donation
