WATCH: One Puppy Still Waiting for Home After Latest Dog Meat Farm Rescue
In February, we wrote about four puppies who were being raised for meat who were saved just days before Valentine’s Day with our partner Jindo Love Rescue. While love has stayed in the air for them, there’s still one who is waiting for his perfect forever home.
Our foster mom found these puppies who were being raised for dog meat soup and kept in deplorable conditions; they were barely being fed and had no water when they were found.
Fortunately, our foster mom was able to negotiate their freedom and brought them to our foster center in Gimhae. We named them Halo, Zen, Joy, and Saint, and it’s been wonderful seeing their individual personalities come out as they adjusted to being loved and cared for.
Joy was scared at first, but her sweet personality really blossomed within days in our care. She’s smart, sweet, social, and obviously super adorable, and she loved to greet volunteers.
Halo was a bit shy around strangers but made friends with people quickly. She loves to play and lounge around and has a special way of doing just about everything.
Zen is a little charmer who has a lot to say, loves storytime, playing games, and hanging out with our foster mom.
While those three have been adopted, sweet little Saint is still waiting for his perfect forever home. Despite everything he went through, he has become the happiest little boy, and we’re sure he’s thankful to be alive and safe. We’ve loved watching him do zoomies and mini jumps to let our volunteers know he’s happy.
We hope to soon find this deserving boy the perfect home where he’ll be spoiled rotten too.
