1. BEST: Mena Suvari / WORST: Lady Gaga

Credit: Instagram:@menasuvari

Mena Suvari is a fearless activist who recently led an anti-fur march in Beverly Hills as part of a #FurFreeFriday protest. When asked about her cruelty-free, sustainable fashion choices, Suvari explains “You’re doing a good thing for the environment, you’re doing a good thing for animals and you’re saving a lot of money," she told Stylish. "I love being able to feel good in what I'm wearing!"

“I am proud to say I no longer wear, nor promote this cruel practice. And I encourage you all to educate yourselves about all that’s horrific taking place within the fashion industry in relation to the #furtrade and #industry to see that there are so many awesome and exceptional alternatives!”

Please ask Mena to “Please support AB 44 to ban fur in California!” on Instagram!

@MenaSuvari, please help @LadyGaga make the connection between the animals she loves so dearly and the animals who suffer and die for the clothing she wears. How would she feel if her three french bulldogs, Gustave, Asia, and Koji were skinned so someone could wear their fur?

2. BEST: RZA / WORST: Cardi B

Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (commonly known as “RZA”), a long-time vegan and founding member of Wu-Tang Clan, recently backed NYC’s bill to ban fur sales despite the fur industry’s race-focused propaganda. The Brooklyn-native asserts that:

“though it may be argued by some that fur used to show elite status in our community because of the inequality we face in society, those days are done.”

Please contact RZA on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and say: Thank you @RZA for supporting the #NYCfurban! Please call upon fellow New York City native @iamCardiB to stop wearing the stolen skins of tortured animals & support a citywide fur ban in NYC! Let’s #MakeFurHistory!

World-renowned actress Anjelica Huston also backs the proposed ban on fur sales in “Fashion Capital of the World.” In April 2019, Huston told New York Daily News she is “ashamed of having supported the fur trade years ago” and asserts that many consumers are unaware of fur's “horrifying” supply chain.

Please tweet Anjelica Huston

Thank you @anjelicahuston for backing the #NYCfurban! Will you call on @justinbieber to ditch fur and to publicly support the NYC and CA fur bans? Let’s #MakeFurHistory!

Please tweet Justin Bieber

@justinbieber: Would you allow your cat Tuts to be electrocuted for someone to wear her as a hat or fur trim on a jacket?

4. BEST: Tim Gunn / WORST: Heidi Klum

Credit: Instagram:@timgunn

Fashion and style expert, Tim Gunn advocates for animals by shedding light on the gruesome fur trade. In May 2019, Gunn publicly endorsed NYC’s proposed fur ban, stating:

“[F]urriers used to slice up chimpanzees, gorillas, monkeys, leopards, baby seals, and tigers for their fur. Most of that was declared illegal. Now it’s time to safeguard all the other animals from such gratuitous violence by supporting City Council Speaker Corey Johnson’s bill to ban fur sales in New York.”

Please thank Tim for his continued efforts to help ban fur in NYC and ask him to urge his former Fashion Runway co-host Heidi Klum to ditch fur on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

Actress and model, Eva Mendes has spoken out against fur for years and even offers faux fur garments as part of her clothing line for New York & Company!

“I recently got a dog and he’s not only made me a happier girl—he’s made me much more sympathetic to animal rights. I look at my beautiful dog and think, “Of course I’d never eat him or skin him for his fur, so why would I be okay with eating a cow or wearing a cheetah?” It’s just not right. It’s a contradiction.

Send Eva a message on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

Thank you @EvaMendes for all your wonderful work for animals! Will you ask entertainer and fellow designer @Rihanna to #ditchfur & support #furbans in CA and NYC?

Olivia Munn is a superhero both on and off the screen who has exposed the shocking cruelty occurring on Chinese fur farms. She recently applauded Chanel for going fur-free on social media and celebrated Los Angeles becoming the largest city in the world to ban fur sales!

“[W]hen you think about even that little tiny trim of fur on your gloves or on your collar, that is still coming from an animal that had to endure so much pain just for you,” she explained in an interview with PETA. “There’s nothing good about pretending like you don’t know.”

Please thank Olivia for speaking out against fur and to publicly support California’s bill to ban fur on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

Thank you for being a #furhero @OliviaMunn! Please urge “Summertime Sadness” songstress & California resident @LanaDelRey, to stop wearing fur & support the #CAfurban! The animal victims of the fur she wears experience much worse than seasonal sorrow.
