All hope probably seemed lost for a little dog who sat waiting alone on a quiet rural road. Shivering in the cold, wet rain, he sat and waited for his guardian who never came.

Little did he know, his life was about to change in the best possible way. A good Samaritan finally stopped, and with some coaxing, was able to get the little dog into his warm vehicle. After searching for the puppy’s guardians and finding none, he took the dog to his home. 

This kind rescuer shared the little dog’s story on social media which reached Sharon Stone, Operations Manager of our Hope Animal Sanctuary. Sharon offered to help and the grateful man was only too happy to accept.

After getting love and care at our sanctuary, the terrified puppy, who is now named West, slowly began to come out of his shell. West is improving every day and will soon be ready for a home of his own.
