It’s sadly not uncommon for animals to be seriously injured by cars in India, but many have been helped by our partner IDA India, like this paralyzed cat who is now miraculously walking again.

This cat was brought in completely helpless after an accident, with both back legs paralyzed.

Fortunately, we’ve found an effective treatment for dogs and cats who’ve suffered injuries like this with a combination of acupuncture and laser treatment.

Stimulating the spine and nerves works wonders, and after three sessions with a specialist, this little cat was up and walking again, and it feels like a miracle to witness.

She’s still doing great, and we named her Mishti, which means sweet. Her spine is a little out of shape, but her legs are working fine. She’ll be staying in our care for the foreseeable future, so we can monitor her progress.
