Mom Dog Rescued in South Korea Flies to New Home With Her Bestie & Gets the Best Surprise
A sweet mom dog who cared for many puppies in need in South Korea is finally in her new home in the U.S., where she not only got to fly to with her best friend, but the best surprise awaited her.
Last year, we rescued Cheonsa and her two puppies, Howie and Harper, with our partner Jindo Love Rescue. She was the best mom to them, and showed how full of love she is when she took on four more orphaned puppies who desperately needed a mom as her own, even extending her nurturing side to care for a few kittens. It’s beyond fitting her name translates to angel in Korean.

She also formed a strong bond with Blueberry, who became her best friend at our foster center in Gimhae. This month, they both flew to New York where they’ll be living near each other and able to have playdates in the future, but that’s not even the best part of her story.

Her new family previously adopted Howie and Harper, and now she’s going to be able to spend the rest of her life with them.

We’re thrilled that they extended their home and hearts to her and couldn’t be happier they will all be together forever. Watching her give so much love and helping Blueberry overcome her fears after being rescued has been wonderful, and we’re grateful to be able to help so many dogs like these get the fairytale endings they deserve.
How to Adopt
If you’re interested in adopting, learn more about how it works and send Jindo Love Rescue a message on Facebook to start the application process.
Even if you can’t adopt, you can still help by sharing this story and supporting our rescue efforts in South Korea by making a donation and spreading the word about our ongoing need for flight volunteers to courier dogs to new homes in the U.S. and Canada.
