Popcorn the Potbellied Pig is Loving Life at Our Hope Animal Sanctuary
Popcorn is now our lone potbellied pig at our Hope Animal Sanctuary in Mississippi, but he’s still enjoying life and soaking up all the attention and treats he can get.
Popcorn, whose sister Petunia recently passed away, has been at our sanctuary for years after being brought in with her and their mother. They were extremely lucky to have landed at our Hope Animal Sanctuary, where they received all the love and care they needed, and Popcorn still enjoys his days soaking in his caregivers' affection.
While we largely help dogs and cats find their way to forever homes, we hope Popcorn’s story encourages people looking to welcome any kind of unusual animal into their lives to thoroughly do their research to ensure they can properly care for them for life.
We also hope Popcorn’s story reminds people how unique and precious pigs are, and how much they have to live for and enjoy their lives when they’re in an environment where they’re loved and respected.

You can help us ensure Popcorn has everything he needs to live out his days happily, and that we’re prepared to help other animals in need like him, by making a donation.
Potbellied pigs aren’t much different from any other pigs and none of them should be forced into existence only to suffer and die for their flesh. Make the positive change today.
